Earth's systems support life
Air, water, soil and living things are linked, so a change in one part of Earth's systems changes the others.
A worked example
Cut down a forest and rain washes the bare soil away. That is erosion, and with less soil holding water and nutrients, fewer plants grow and animals lose food.
The mistake people actually make
Evaporation is liquid water turning into invisible water vapour and rising. The cloud you can see is condensation, which happens later and higher up.
